Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated August 18, 2026

In short

You can cancel any subscription at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund periods that have already started, and we do not prorate partial periods.

We do refund in full if we cannot set up your account, if you were charged twice, or if we billed you in error.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to Marketplace subscriptions purchased through Fynbridge Tools from [PLACEHOLDER - registered legal name]. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

It covers the amounts you pay us. It does not cover charges you may have with a software vendor directly, under a separate agreement you hold with them.

2. Subscriptions are billed in advance

Each subscription is charged at the start of its billing period for the whole of that period, and renews automatically until you cancel. Your renewal date is shown in the billing area of your account.

3. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time from the billing area of your account. Cancellation is immediate as an instruction, but takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

  • Your subscription remains active until that date, and you keep access.
  • No further charges are made after it.
  • You can reverse a pending cancellation before that date if you change your mind.

We do not require notice, and there is no cancellation fee. Cancelling part-way through a period does not shorten the period you have paid for, and does not generate a refund for the remainder of it.

4. Fees already paid are not refundable

Except in the circumstances set out in section 5, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun. Partial periods are not prorated, and unused time is not credited.

This includes a change of mind after purchase, a decision to stop using the product mid-period, and forgetting to cancel before a renewal date. We send confirmation by email at the time of purchase, and your renewal date is always visible in your account.

5. When we do refund

We will refund you in the following cases:

  • We cannot set up your account. Vendor accounts are provisioned by our team after payment, normally within two business days. If we are unable to complete setup, we cancel the subscription and refund your payment in full.
  • Duplicate charges. If you were charged more than once for the same subscription, we refund the duplicate in full.
  • Billing errors on our side. If we charged the wrong amount, charged the wrong account, or charged you after a valid cancellation had taken effect, we correct it and refund the difference in full.
  • Where the law requires it. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection or other legislation.

Outside these cases we may still choose to issue a refund or credit at our discretion. Doing so once does not commit us to doing so again.

6. What we do not refund

  • The remainder of a billing period after you cancel.
  • Periods during which you had access but did not use the product.
  • Renewals you intended to cancel but did not - though you can cancel immediately to stop the next one.
  • Problems with the software vendor's own service, including outages, feature changes, or support quality. Contact us anyway: we will raise it with the vendor, and if they issue a credit we will pass it on.
  • Taxes already remitted, except where the underlying fee is itself refunded.

7. How to request a refund

Email support@fynbridge.com from the address on your account, and include the product name, the company the subscription is for, and the date and amount of the charge. Your invoices are available in the billing area of your account if you need to check.

We will acknowledge your request within five business days and tell you what we can do.

8. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or by another means.

Refunds include any sales tax charged on the refunded amount. Once we issue a refund it typically appears on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer - that part is outside our control.

9. Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first. We can usually resolve it faster than a chargeback, which takes weeks to run its course and may result in the affected subscription being suspended while it does.

Where a chargeback is raised, we will respond with our record of the purchase, the subscription, and this policy.
